Description

These are a pair of botanical nest stud earrings with an 'arts and crafts' style leaf drop. The earrings are completley handmade in sterling silver in the UK and are avaialble with a choice of either 22ct gold plate or solid sterling silver finish.

The leaf emblem is inspired by designs by William Morris and William De Morgan. These two are prominent figures in the 'Arts and Crafts' movement - a movement in the late 19th century that championed the natural world and the handmaking skills. This leaf is handformed and cleverly interlocks with cast stem details giving it a 3 dimensional feel.

The oval gemstones nestle within a silver nest, hand crafted from what was once a real twig and has now been imortalised into solid silver. The semi-precious stone is kept in place by four tiny leaves
